Navigating dental challenges in the land of lemurs.

Ambalavao, Madagascar.

Amalgache is a charity set up 25 years ago by Belgian dentists.

They consist of a team of experienced, and new, caretakers with an aim to provide accessible dental care to the local population. Every year, they fly out for a humanitarian mission to tackle one of Madagascar's biggest healthcare problems: toothache.

BKYD had the privilege of joining the journey and documenting the country for 2 weeks. This film focuses on information, cinematography, and storytelling. This assignment was done with the outcome to present the film and photos to investors to gain more donations and thus optimise their team, services, and ability to give the necessary health care for the people of Madagascar.

A project to be proud of for the team.

Deliverables: short documentary film up to 5min and 100 photos to be used for marketing purposes to raise more money for the charity.
